Friday was Tony Waters’ first time in Salisbury, and it was only the second time he was ever in the same room with Marc Hoffman.

A Charleston, S.C., illustrator, Waters traveled here to be part of the book-signing and singing party at Literary Bookpost in celebration of Hoffman’s new children’s book and CD, “Sleep, Little Child.”

As I heard the story of how these men collaborated on the book — and how Hoffman got it published — I realized for the umpteenth time that technology keeps making our world smaller and smaller…
